Picture Perfect Weekend...

Saturday was super fun, Jay and I went to Balboa Park, w/ a Hasselblad each in hand loaded with black n white film. We took random shots of things that caught our eye. We saw two great shows, The Life Works of Ansel Adams, and Richard Avedon. In the ten years I have been in San Diego, its sad to think I've never been to the museums... but once to MOPA (The Museum of Photographic Arts) for a series on women in history. Better late than never I guess. I'm excited to see if the shots I took come out. Jay will be developing them in the bathtub soon, stay tuned! ;-)

Sunday we took Charlie to dog beach, it was quite funny, the current was pretty strong so we let him swim up stream in place holding a ball in front of him to fetch so the lil chub-a-wub could get some good excercise, like runnng on a treadmill, he thought it was fun. Big ol Charlie Seal! ;-) hee, hee...

A Day at the Beach w/ Charlie...

Charlie on his towel...

Saturday, Charlie and I met, Zoe (giant brandy doggie), her brother Angus (cute mix) and Jack the Lab at doggie beach. There we swam & fetched, sunk tennis balls, stole tennis balls, protected a pregneant lady, pee'd on the pregnant ladie's friends shoes to show that we owened the pregnant lady, swam across a channel, climbed up a wall to bask in the sun & bark at crabs, barked at a man in a hat fishing, sunk another tennis ball, swam back across the channel, (not sure we'll be swimming anymore after word from mom of GIANT squids in the area) DARN just when I wasn't scared anymore :P We then took a break on our towels, had a photoshoot, then went home to have dinner. It was a good day with Charlie and his friends.

Walter...

The kitz are very generous to share their food with the hood, lastnight I was watching tv w/ jay and I heard some louder than normal crunching in the food room. I got up to reasearch the noise, peaked slowly around the corner and was startled to see not 'a' cat, as we've had visiters before, but an opossum having kitty cereals for super...I jumped up, did a little dance in circles and ran, so did he. I believe Walter lives under the house because at night I can hear something walking along the pipes and charlie the dog is always sniffing the corners and floors, I thought it to be a raccoon but have yet to see one...Welcome Walter... as I'm sure you'll be back! =)

Night Terrors...

been having horrible nightmares, last night i woke up gasping for air, screaming, shaking uncontrollably, last thing I said was "i hate you sooo much" and it was very intense-like, the dream was about a man holding me under but it was under white flowing sheets and armed men came in and were going to kill me :(

it really sucked...

then another where a dogs arms and legs were falling off and lisa & jay were grooming the wounds like a vampire...the dog survived and was put back together but it was horrible bloody...weird. Its a strange one...this thing called life.

Transition...

tran-si-tion: passage from one state, stage, subject or place to another.

I feel like I've been in transition for sometime now, experiencing some huge life changes, tho thru it all, the sad times and happy times, I am growing with life, following the path of my journey where ever it may lead, with no expectations...it feels good. Life is constant transition.

" Disenchantment, whether it is a minor disappointment or a major shock, is the signal that things are moving into transition in our lives.” ~WB
