Smokin Goodness...

This weekend was fun... Jay and I trimmed trees in the garden, hung some lights, repaired the sprinkler system and mastered smoking salmon. We had two medium sized pieces of fish, one was a brown sugar, soy glaze the other a lime, black pepper, olive oil, thyme glaze. Both created secret recipes. After the brine session we started up the 20 dollar smoker with hickory chips and then anticipated the outcome, it took about 2.5 hours to smoke. I think we are naturals because it is YUMMY goodness for our first round! We can't wait to make jerky tonight! YAY!!! Smoking food is fun! =O)
