Puddles in the house...

I love the rain... we went on a walk and I jumped in a puddle to splash Jay. Bad idea... I ended up looking like I swam in one.. hehe It was fun! Now we have a no gutter on roof river running thru the non sealed back door... puddles in the house not so much fun! On the bright side, the skunk smell on the outside is being washed away... YAY!

Happy Tuesday!

Investigations...

We investigated under the house last night... no skunk but still an awful smell, guess we'll just have to wait it out. We didn't hear the monsters last night either, my guess is because I had the dryer running, it thumps the floor all night, they may have been discouraged to make a visit... sooo no symphony by the monsters hammering away on the pipes... I know they'll be back, Jay thinks I'm crazy but he'll see... when one wakes him up in the middle of the night standing over him after watching him sleep... Lol ;-)

Numb hands investigation's outcome was much the same, inconclusive still. I went to the doctor this morning, his words "you have nothing to worry about but it needs to be taken care of so I'd like to try an "experiment" and then we'll go from there, as to what is the cause of the numbness!" Aren't doctors always experimenting? So anyhow, he injected me with 'something' (injections scare the crap out of me w/ so many psychos out in the world & his nurse's name is Holga!!! Holga + experiment = anxiety (clearly I have watched to many sci-fi movies)) Anyhow, the injection, a steroid or something, has made my whole left hand and arm numb, 'worse', he said that is what would happen in the first hour. Now I wait it out for 'another' week to see if I get better, stay the same or am worse and then we'll more likely do more experiments until it miracuosly goes away on its on... why do people tell me to go see a doctor? I have a clean bill of health just strange things happen to me, daily, Black widow, bees, random swelling, numbness, skunks, black cats, opposums, rats, paranormal phenomenons amongst many many many others. I just laugh at it all! New adventure I guess... updates soon.

Monsters, Trolls or Demons oh my...

'Something' is living under the house, tonight we investigate. Sounds like lil monsters running around banging on pipes with hammers. All night long these lil monsters keep me awake. We need to investigate for a skunk, regardless, because the house still smells and it smells VERY strong in one area...

Doctor's appointment tomorrow... we'll see what he says about the numb hands that don't seem to be better. The EMG test was inconclusive soooo.... now what?!?!? Trucking along... being a guinnea pig of life...

Skunk attack...

So darn cute but REALLY REALLY stinky! The WORST ever is feeling like you are being choked and gassed by what smells like raw gasoline! Charlie decided to play with a skunk... we are now de-skunking EVERYTHING, living in a barn as we do with no insulation is like having an army of skunks invade, take over and conquer then do it all again and laugh at the great success. I wasn't sent home from work today, mainly because poking fun of me is entertaining to some and more-likey the smell is almost tolerable. The house however, is a gas chamber from hell. The dog smells like peppermint skunk, I vanilla skunk & Jay? Chocolate skunk... all mixed together? Me no-likey! gag... gag... A few weeks or two maybe things will be smelling peachy! I hope.

Doctors note - No nerve damage, no carpel tunnel, tests w/ needles and electric shock? No answers, back to the ortho to watch him scratch his head in awe at the mystery to my numb fingers... where is Dr. House when you need him?!?!

Smiles are on my face... comedy,
LAUGHTER is the best medicine! :-)
